Cemetery of the Innocents, current 1st district. Urban landscape. Genre scene. From left to right: the arcades of the mass grave north side and houses on the street with Irons (Berger current street), the préchoir, the apse of the Church of the Holy Innocents, the tower Notre-Dame-des-Bois, the arcades mass grave south side and the houses of the street of the ironwork. The existence of the Innocents cemetery dates back at least to the Middle Ages (the discovery of Merovingian sarcophagi attests).
