In 1700 Carlo Maratti’s wife died, permitting him to marry his longtime mistress, Francesca Gommi, who began modeling for the artist in the 1670s and was the mother of his only child, Faustina. This painting was presumably painted shortly after the marriage as an homage from the artist to his new wife. To introduce an allegorical element into the composition, Maratti included a painting within a painting—in this case a drawing depicting Venus forging the love-darts of her adolescent son Cupid, suggesting that love will conquer all.

사용 가능한 재료

We offer a range of different sizes and materials for every product. You can choose your preferred size and material among the following options:

  • 인쇄된 포스터 (캔버스 소재): The poster is a printed canvas paper with a slightly rough texture on the surface, that reminds the actual version of the work of art. A poster is optimally suited for putting the art copy in a custom-made frame. Please bear in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2 - 6cm around the print motif to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
  • 캔버스: A printed canvas, which shall not be confused with an artwork painted on a canvas, is a digital image printed from a UV direct printer. A canvas print of your favorite masterpiece will give you the unique opportunity of transforming your art print into a large size artwork as you know from art galleries. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, meaning that it is easy to hang up your Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for any type of wall.
  • 알루미늄 디본드 프린트: This is a metal print made on aluminium dibond with an impressive depth - for a modern look and a non-reflective surface structure. A direct Aluminium Dibond Print is the excellent start to fine art prints with aluminum. The UV print on Aluminum Dibond is one of the most popular entry-level products and is an extremely contemporary way to showcase artworks, as it puts 100% of the viewer’s focus on the artwork.
  • 광택 아크릴 유리에 인쇄(실제 유리 코팅): A glossy print on acrylic glass, often denoted as a UV print on plexiglass, transforms your favorite artwork into décor. In addition, it offers a distinct alternative option to canvas or aluminium dibond art prints. The great upside of a plexiglass fine art print is that contrasts and smaller color details become identifiable thanks to the precise tonal gradation of the picture. Our plexiglass protects your chosen art replica against light and external influences for decades.
